when i type '~~~' or '***' and press enter i get a line, now one .

there r these cool lines that appear if i type *** or ~~~ on its own line and
press 'enter'. The ~~~ one is a zig-zag line and the *** is lots of squares.
I use them a fair bit, however, one of them doesnt go away. I cant select it
to delete it but i can move it a little bit. Can u please tell me how to
delete it.
