When i put interactive buttons on my website they will not show!!.

I put music and buttons on my website and they will not show in internet
explorer or monzilla. They do show on the internet explorer preview though.
Can it have to do with the host. It is hosted by my college. I do not have
any experience with with programming so i can only use WYSIWUG
