When I open from 'File' how can I change 'edit with notepad' to '.

When logged into the internet and I want to 'edit with word' which I could
until recent problems - I open from 'File' and now find the option is 'edit
with notepad. How can I change this to edit with word/
 
I'm confused. I follow you up to the part about 'edit with word.' Edit WHAT
with Word? WHAT Option? Change WHAT?

Is this about Front Page or should you be addressing this
