when i go to control panel explorer.exe crashes

ok so the subject sums it up but i think this has to do
with sp2 because that is when this all started happening.
can someone please tell me whats going on here and give
some advice because i dont feel like reformating tonight
lol.

What does the event viewer say? have you checked for
spyware, viruses.

No lol about it. Was your system clean before installing SP2? Either way,
this is common behavior of spyware, etc.
