When I bold, underline, italicize, etc. to a selected area of text that is an
entire line with a return, the entire document is bolded, etc. However, when
I select a portion of a line, or multiple lines, the bold, etc. seems to work
fine. This occurs on existing or newly created documents. This issue only
arose recently.

What do I need to modify?
