When adding a domain name to my blocked senders list do I include the @ or
just the name? Also curious to know if there is any way other than deleting
all junk mail that I can get outlook to delete junk from the domains that I
have blocked but not new ones till I block them?

Don't include the "@".

Many people use an anti-spam tool like http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/

Thanks Brian for responding to my post. The bummer is I have added the @ to
about 300 blocked domains! Guess I'll be doing some editing. Thanks again,
