What's the difference between WinXP and WinXP-Pro?

Thanks Ron. The programmers have WinXP Professional Service Pack 2. On
the management computers the WinXP Pro sign is visible but not on the
programmers' computers. 'Guess the management is using older OS.

So you don't have to guess, right click on My Computer/Properties and it
will tell you what they have.

Right click on Start/Properties.

Also, right click on the Desktop/Properties/Desktop tab/Customize Desktop.

No, it's not at all obvious that he's referring to WinXP Home. The
only thing that's at all obvious is that the OP was unfamilar with the
various editions of WinXP.

Right-click the Taskbar > Properties > Start Menu > Customize >
Advanced, and then select the desired display option for My Computer.
