If you want to learn something ask someone who has worked as a teacher. Like
me.
The references you have been pointed to are not good learning resources for
zero-level as they lack structured instruction. What you want to do is buy a
real textbook that is used in a classroom.
Go to the father & son team Deitel & Deitel [1] and look over what they
have. Then go to Barnes & Noble and have them order a couple for review. Buy
the one that feels right after your review. Sometimes they already have some
Deitel titles on their shelves. The books are not cheap but they will teach
you C# guaranteed and will remain a ready reference book on your bookshelf.
If you can't get to a retail store in the U.S.A. then you'll have to just
buy the textbook right from Deitel & Deitel.
Then --and only then-- get started using the QuickStarts and tutorials at
asp.net --after-- you do --ALL-- of the excercises in your textbook. Just
like school only you discipline yourself.
