What's New in SP2?

In no particular order:


1. All of my saved passwords have been lost.

2. All of my explorer settings have been lost.

3. I can not resize the start menu.

4. "Pad Lock" (laptop) will not disable, rendering the keyboard useless.

5. Windows will not minimise to the taskbar.

6. Using the Quick Launch toolbar means you can use no other toolbar.

7. All incoming connections are blocked, although my firewall is disabled,
and I apparently have no network connections! Although outgoing connections
are fine!

8. I can no longer view the properties of services, the window just will not
open!

9. Log in now takes 10 minutes!

10. "Lock the taskbar" serves no purpose! It's always locked!

11. Windows Installer runs EVERY TIME I log in.

Do I need to go on?
I saw on the news yesterday that SP2 was tested on one million machines! I
believe it, but did anyone take any notice of the test results?
Uninstall I imagine being the only solution, all settings being lost
forever!

This is by far the worst update I've had to fight with!

I installed on my desktop and laptop at home and sevevaral computers at work
all with no problems at all?

I had the RC2 installed with no problems either?

I guess I was just lucky

Just ran it this morning. Ran through your bullets and didn't experience
any of them. Good luck.

Just found out my sound doesn't work, and what did Windows recommend I do?
Install a printer! Yeah, it's obvious really!!!


The windows firewall recommends I start the Network Connections Service.
This fails, but I can't load the bloody property window to find it's
dependancies! Can someone give me a clue here?


I think it's safe to say I won't be installing SP2 on any more machines!
