What the font?

I have found fonts, Microsoft Sans Serif, Arial, Century, do not line up
correctly when their style property is set to regular and they are in
aligned label controls to any of the TextAlign Right properties. I have
tried numerous fonts and have found some line up and some don't with type
style regular. I thought I was on to something when I tried Courier New and
found that it did line up correctly. Then I tried Times New Roman, and that
also aligned to the right correctly. There doesn't seem to be a common
factor with this feature.

Switch to type Bold, and all font types do line up correctly to the right.

I tried this on new forms (to rule out some hidden error on my part). I went
back to VB 6, that has no problem with lining regular fonts to the right of
label controls.

I have VS .NET 2002, has this been corrected in later versions?

Is there a reason for this I'm missing?

Or is it just a "Feature of VS VB .NET.

That's a "feature" of GDI+, as far as I know.
