What size should slides be ?

It seems so simple. What size & resolution should slides be coming out of
Photo Shop. The presentation will be projected and I won't see it tell I am
there. I am currently setting the image size at 10" wide and 72 DPI. Looks
great on my screen. What will it be 6' across? Bill

On the pc side. we typically do all of images at 1024x768 (72dpi)... As PPT
sets everything to full screen, as long as you keep your perspective/ratio
intact your images should be fine. If your screen looks good on your
monitor, your projected image should be fine as well.

10 inches wide at 72dpi = 720 dots/pixels

If your projector only handles 800x600 pixels, then you are not far off
If your projector handles 1024x768 or higher, then you are not getting the quality that you could.
