what node is commonly populated with users?

Hi all,

I'm working on a software that can be configured to retrieve user names
and passwords from an LDAP server.

I don't know that much about LDAP but need to populate a test server
with an amount of test data.

Is there a "standard" or "typical" location within an LDAP structure
where users and passwords are stored?

Any information on typical locations for other usual data (computers,
locations, etc) stored in these types of system would also be
appreciated.

cheers,

By default users go into cn=users,dc=domain,dc=com... but that is just
an initial configuration, many/most companies change that and put them
in some OU somewhere or many OUs.
