What motherbaord?

Hi there peoples

who knows of motherboards with the following characteristics


an 8-way Opteron with an x8 AGP slot and based around AMD 8111 + 8131
Chipset


maybe even a 4way solution with the above

I see the opteron as a workstation rather than a server, so having
onboard video is not required as I have my own requirements for video
in and out etc

When I first learnt of the 8-way opteron and its chipset I thern set
out finding and building a parts list that fits my requirements.
It now seems [my reseach so far] that only 2-way opterons can be used
as workstations, machines that allow for the mix and match of
specialised hardware

My final solution came down to a PCI-X grabber and an 8x AGP, though
now I am starting to think that my video card may also need to be based
on PCI-X - thus getting me out of this dilema.

Tyan and Iwill has 8 way servers. Need lot's of cash. About $8K

Tyan and Iwill. Others? But probably no AGP. PCI-E yes. About $1500

Don't think you'll find many that don't have onboard video. just disable
it.
