What is XP SP2a

I came across a couple of websites that were selling Windows XP Home and Pro
complete with service pack 2a. Is this a typo? Or has MS already issued a
second version of the service pack like they did with SP1 when the Java
proprietary issue was addressed in SP1a?

Thank you for your time.

Hi

It must be a typo, because no SP2a exists.

I checked pricewatch.com and looked under Operating systems for upgrade
versions of XP Pro. Here is what one of the descriptions said:

Windows XP Professional OS - Full w/SP2
Includes Service pack 2a- Full Version this is not an upgrade - E8500086

Dealer # - SFT-WIN_XP-PRO
Man # -E8500086

Looking at the linked software it said only SP2, but yesterday when I looked
I came across three different links which said 2a and at least one of them
also said it when I went clicked the purchase link.

I presume it is a typo as indicated. It just struck me as odd, but then so
did SP1a.

Thank you for your time.
