What is this red fist ?

I have turned off the Internet Explorer pop up blocker and yet still get this
red fist that prevents me from opening buttons on various web sites. I can
not even open the terms of use on this page !! Anyone have any
sugguestions?Thanks for your thoughts 'n time!

Do you use Earthlink? I read somewhere that this is Earthlink's popup
blocker.
To temporarily disable the blocker and open a link/site, simply hold down
the CTRL key on your keyboard and click on the link you are trying to open.
Hold the CTRL key down until the link opens the window up fully, and then
you may release the CTRL key at that point.
