What is the True Vector Engine?

I have had problems with crashes in XP and just checked
some logg-files. Some suspicious errors showed up -all
involving the source: True Vector Engine.
I suspect that this is the clue to my problem, but what
is this True Vector Engine?

It didn't stop the restarts (but I think I'll track it
down soon) but at least the computer doesn't freeze
anymore!
