It's another way to save your data--I don't think many people use it, though.
You can just drag a cell/range to the desktop and later double click on that
scrap object file to open up that saved version of your workbook.
It also works with MSWord--where it might be more useful. You can highlight a
range/sentence/paragraph and drag it to the desktop. Then double click on that
scrap object and just the copied range will be brought back.
Can anyone help me? I have a excel file 123.xls become a scrap object 123.shs
already. Can anyone tell me how to change the file back to .xls? I have try
to change the extension back to .xls but went I open it the excel show file
type not support.
Leave the extension .shs and try doubleclicking on the file in windows explorer
(or on the desktop).
It should open in excel and then you can do what you want with the data.
