I wanting to scan documents to Microsoft Office Document Imaging. I am using
a Lexmark X4270. It asks me for the Path of MODI and I don't know.

The MODI files can be found in this folder, if you installed Office to
C:\Program Files\ folder.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MODI\11.0\

Note the MSPSCAN.EXE and MSPVIEW.EXE executable files located in this
folder.

Thanks Ken but when I enter C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\MODI\11.0\ or C:\Program Files\ folder as the path it then asks me
what file types supported. Once I enter TIF and press OK it says the path is
void. Again I appreciate your time.

I gave you the parent folder, and then also told you of the two executable
files that are in that folder. I assume that your printer will want the path
and filename of one of the executable files?

That is true, you did. However, I thought by my basic request it would be
obvious that I am not a whiz kid in computers. If you can talk to me in
cotton patch language. Something like- you get out of bed-turn your computer
on-go to this program that asks you for the path and you time-verbatim-?????.
thanks again.

You posted your question to a newsgroup that is for Microsoft's ACCESS
software. Your question has nothing to do with ACCESS, but I was trying to
provide some small amount of assistance.

May I suggest that you post your question to a newsgroup that pertains to
the MODI software? It is more likely that you may get a useful answer there.
