what is the difference between access 2002 and access 2003 files?

I want to use Speed Ferret (find and replace utility) but it only works on
Access db's through version 2002. I notice that the version listed is often
Access 2002/2003. Does this mean that they use the same format and are
therefore identical?

The file format used in A2002 and A2003 is the same, so (without testing) I
would expect Speed Ferret to work with A2003 files as well.

There is actually a difference in the binary (compiled code) produced by the
2 versions, as you will find out if you create an MDE using A2003, and try
to distribute it with the Access 2002 runtime. AFAIK, Speed Ferret works on
the text version of the code, not the compiled version, so there should not
be a problem.
