what is the definition of an Advanced Excel user?

Hi,

i am looking for a job at them moment.

a few job description requires "advance excel skills"

i know how to do most of the pre-defined functions.... vlookup
macro...... etc. and i feel that i am very efficient with sorting
filtering and using shortcut keys.

basically i dont know about macros, but am trying to learn abou
VBA's.

what would you define an advance user be?

First rule of job-hunting:- assume you know more than the other guy until proved wrong, then show how confident you are that you will overcome the limitation

If something comes up in the interview you know nothing about then say so and ask if thats a crunch point because you are confident with your existing knowledge it won't take long for you to learn whatever it is

If there's nothing in the ad that you specifically can't do then go for it
