Here is info on the SPSS program and company:
Seems that ".spss" might be a file extension of the spss program and
company.
I do not know whether anti-virus, ad defeat and spy detection softwares
look for or delete .spss files.
What you can do?
Scrub your drive with the file manager search function.
Run Find in the registry editor and remove .spss references after doing
a backup of the keys involved.
Clean out your temporary internet files, temp files, cookie files (and
use the IE Tools Options utilities for cookies, temp internet files, etc
to delete them). Run the Msconfig.exe utility and disable the program
and services that might be using .spss extension.
