What is resetting my Printer to Landscape in MSIE 6.0?

Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633IC

For some reason, the printer orientation keeps switching
to Landscape. Before I print, I have to go to Print Setup
to change back to portrait mode. This happened a couple
weeks ago after I had intentionally set to Landscape to
print a wide web page. To my knowledge I didn't set any
default and can't find a way to set a default page
orientation. Is this a bug? Am I overlooking a
configuration setting?
 
Instead of going into print setup, just choose file-print
and go to the tab called Basic & change to portrait.
Every page after that should then be defaulted to portrait.
