Yawn, you're so ill informed.

Really? Prove your accusation that most of the 130 million copies of
Vista are "gathering dust in computer stores".
Prove it you lying POS spamming linux troll.
Well...?

I've already bought one desktop and one laptop with Windows vista.
That brings my home up to 2 XP Pro computers and two Vista computers.
One PC has Vista home basic, and the other has Vista Premium 64 bit.
Both run excellently now. I had to get a new Intel video driver for
the powerspec from Intel because that kept crashing, no problems ever
since.

You would have to have common sense and an ability to use logic to
understand why what I say is true and, unfortunately for you, you have
neither. That said, I will reply anyway, not for your benefit, but for
everyone that does have common sense and the ability to use logic.

Dell gets 100000 orders for computers with Vista. Do you really think
that Dell then calls MS and buys more licenses or do you think they have
them on hand so they can ship the machines out quickly? Every retail
computer/department store you go to that sells computers has computers
either in stock in the store or in their warehouse with little license
stickers on each one. Do you think that they call MS for more licenses
every time they sell a computer? Where are your brains, in Viet Nam like
NoStop says?

Course, you gotta figure in people like me who bought Vista and
uninstalled it and set it on the shelf until I am forced to use it for
new computer games. Most of our computer repairs calls now are from
people who want to dump Vista and reinstall XP. Course, I suggest a dual
boot if appropriate with Ubuntu or only Ubuntu if they don't need to use
Photoshop, AutoCad, etc. or play computer games ;-) We get more of the
latter than the former.

No...all you need for proof would be the facts to backup your accusation.
Do you or do you not have them?
Well...?
Your factual proof...where is it?

SLAP!!!!

ahhh you needed that for the misinformation you postulate.
Anyway Vista is a beautiful operating system.

Do you say the same thing when you look at an elephants posterior?

And do you need to post every negative story you can find about Vista? You
are like a broken record or a nagging wife. Give it a rest. Go help the
community and pick up empty coke cans, bottles, and other trash on the side
of the road to be a more productive human being.

If vista solves its problems with SP2, then I wont be posting negative news
but positive news.

Its Vista that is attracting and creating the negative reaction from the
world.

Dont confuse stuff....

A special department is being created at MS for dealing with mentally

You better hurry up and get first in line alexB.

Q: What OS is built for lusers?
A: Which one requires running lusermgr.msc to create them?

You have to be kidding. An abacus is too complicated. He could probably
master Pick-up-Sticks given enough time and commitment. Don't know whether
he can count that high however.

Maybe that is what _you_ need, so you can get your borked XP install
working to recover your famous API's.

Noo.. not that kind of abacus.. he still uses the preview version.. see

You snipped it like you always do when you're wrong and then you stick
your head up your ass, curse and fuss and hope it will go away. It won't:

Hahaha...still can't come up with anything in terms of real factual
proof other than your own MS hating anecdotal diatribe?
Figures!

other than games is directx 10 worth anything else?

Are other programs going to use this?

Because I had a choice to get a directx9 or directx10 card
but I chosed the directx9 one because it had a special fan-less silent
cooling system... I want to reduce the noise coming from my boxes...

but then I thought I may have made a mistake. I dont play games... but what
if something else will need directx 10?
