In my add/remove window I have this showing: Microsoft
Office 2000 SR 1 Disc 2 size 169MB ... Then another one
is: Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Professional size 168MB?
Does this mean I have installed Win2000 Professional
Twice? Could someone explain to difference and why I
should have this on my computer please. Also I need the
extra disk space so if I could remove one of these which
one would it be? Thanks :o)

Service packs for office 2000. Ask them in office.setup

The entry identified as "Disc 2" represents optional components installed
from the second Office CD. I believe these are Publisher, Small Business
Tools, and Shared clip art. If you don't use those features you can
uninstall them. The second entry is for the base components -- Woed,
Excel, Outlook, etc. You probably want to keep those, although if you
have programs installed that you don't use, can can uninstall them
individually.

Not exactly. Office SR-1 and Office Disk2 SR-1 are the full product
including Service Release 1. If uninstalled then no more Office at all.
