Hi Group,

I have recently been placed onto a development project where I am
involved in user interface design.

For some work we are doing on user screens I need to know definitively
what the _default_ antialias setting is for a new install of windows XP.

I have searched through this groups archive but have been unable to find
an answer. The same when I search through the microsoft site knowledge
base and associated resources.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Andy.

The 'default' setting for antialiasing is set to 'standard' as you've got
three options. 1) None, 2) Standard, or 3) Cleartype.

I've installed XP going on a hundred times now and it's the same across the
board.

Hope this helps

Windows XP setup tests your video card and chooses a different default based
on the features of your video card.
