And posters should be a bit more cognizant of the volunteer status of people like me who take their time to answer questions. Including your Outlook version when there are currently 6 versions out with different behaviors would certainly be appreciated rather than your unhelpful commentary.

|| Icon->Accounts. Depending on your version (which you conveniently
|| left out) it will either be a choice on the ensuing page or a tab
|| for address books. Remove the LDAP from there, then back up one
|| step and add the Outlook Address Book service. Completely close and
|| reopen Outlook and you should be back in business.
