What is an ideal architecture for OWA?

Management wants to deploy Outlook Web Access (OWA) a.k.a. webmail.

There is a "debate" among the colleagues to place the front-end of the OWA
in the DMZ, which in turn talk to the Exchange Server in the internal
network, or to deploy ISA, as a reverse proxy server, in the DMZ.

You may also want to post on one of the ISA newsgroups. There are advantages
using ISA to publish access as an internal server that include deep
application filtering as explained in the link below. --- Steve
