Every once in a while I get this file on my desk top and
would like to know what it is and what causes it. It is
about 200kb in size and only has the carat as a symbol
(~).Please advise. Thanks

Hi Ocala - It's a copy of your Address Book (caused by a glitch in a recent
OE hotfix). MS is aware of the problem. You can either ignore it, delete
it (it will probably be recreated the next time you make an Address Book
change), or hide it - or you can just be happy to have a backup available.
Just rename the extension to .wab and open in Notepad to see this.

That's not a carat, it's a tilde.

The file is the result of an OE bug. Sometimes OE makes a copy of your
address book and forgets to delete it. You can delete the file if you
want, but eventually OE will recreate it.
