What I don't like about Windows Mail

I'm trying it out for both email and usenet and have found a major issue.
They put the reply to group and reply to sender right next to each other. It
is too easy to select the wrong option if not paying close attention. One
day I wanted to reply to someone in a newsgroup and sent that person an
email instead. Luckily his address was scrambled so it was sent back to me
as undeliverable. Is there way to change this so they aren't right next to
each other? Don't people think about things like this when they are
designing the UI? Obviously not.

Yeah, I guess they didn't learn from OE - same button arrangement there.

Do you have a suggestion for a better arrangement?

Agreed, the defaults aren't ideal. It's easy to press the wrong button

But it's also easily changed via right-click toolbar > Customize > Move up /
down
(when reading a message you want to reply to)

Right click on the Toolbar, select Customize..., and move the buttons to where
ever you want. (Same as in OE.)

Try using Ctrl + R.

OK, that works, but you might point out that rather than moving the buttons
around on the actual toolbar (as you can do in so many other programs) you
have to drag them around and order them in the right hand pane of the
Customize dialog box.

where

Well, yeah, the solution is quite obvious if you think about it. You do know
how to think for yourself, right?

Sorry, should have said, I'm talking about the right click context menu. I
don't move my mouse all the way up to the toolbar to send replies.

Ack, I was talking about the right click context menu. That's what I want to
change.

Right click on the blue bar where there is no icon, click Customize, and
there ya go.

CS

You know how to do that for the context menu? I don't use the toolbar, I
meant to say the right click context menu.

Oh dear sorry for your problem, but it has always been like that as long as
Email has been sent. But if you want to change it Right click in the tool
bar area and chose Customize, In this dialog you can chose larger icons,
place or replace control on your tools bars or move items up or down the
list at will. Ain't Vista wonderful.

But you don't Val. The Dialog has up and down buttons, Why don't you explore
the system first.

Now you explain what you are doing OK, but now You even want to separate
then in a drop down menu, Boy I am glad I do not have to write this software
:-))

The simple answer is you cannot do that.
