I admire Bill Gates' insistence that all vendor software seamlessly mesh
with his operating systems.

I least admire Bill Gates' decision to make use of the planet's computer
user-resources as a beta-testing facility for Microsoft Windows Vista (and
the intital release of Windows XP)

You have it wrong, but just a bit! We Vista users are doing the quality
assurance/quality control functions that precede release of alpha
versions of the operating system.
