What happens with duplicate emails in two (or more) Outlook *.pst data files ?

I setup Autoarchiving for Outlook. The emails hee are NOT deleted from source main *.pst
file but only copied. So there are (at least) two *.pst data files which contain
duplicate emails. When I connect them both to Outlook through the

Tools->Options->MailSetup->DataFiles

menu what happens with them in further email operations?
E.g. if I delete an eMail which exists in two (or more) *.pst files.
How does Outlook know from which *.pst file it has to delete it? Or does it delete the
emails from all *.pst files where the email is found?
