Did you change your video card driver? Is your video card driver showing up
in Device Manager as a WDDM driver? What other apps have you recently
installed? If it, Aero, worked before, something has changed on your system
that is now preventing Aero to work. Right? Makes sense, no? Have you tried
going back to a restore point when Aero did work?

I don't know... hmm... try this:

1) Ensure that you have the following registry values set to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM]
"Composition"=dword:00000001
"CompositionPolicy"=dword:00000002
"ColorizationOpaqueBlend"=dword:00000001

2) Restart DWM by opening a command prompt with administrative privileges:
Type 'net stop uxsms'
Then 'net start uxsms'

Good luck,

Lang
