What happened to FrontPage Express

Hi, my name is Anthony, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what happened
to FrontPage Express. My wife has it on her computer with her Office 2000
Professional software. Please email me at

I understand from reading replies that FrontPage Express isn't included or
supported anymore. But that little program works (or worked) just fine for me
in 98 and in ME.

Will it work if I load it onto new HD with XP?

Also ... does anyone know why/how/from where a FrontPage folder was created
on new HD. After loading XP Home Edition and Office 2000 ... there is a
folder but no working files. At least I can't find any ...

FP is not included in office 2000. FP 2000 was a separate product.

If you want FP 98XPress, you can intall it to see what happens. But fp
98 (and express) create crap HTML code and it was designed before CSS
HTML 4, XML.

The "FrontPage" folder created on anew windows install is a "default
directory" used by the system.

It did not work so good on win 2k .. I've not really tried it .. just opened
it on my new xp drive... I only keep to it answer questions on...

Thank you all. I downloaded from the site instead of using whatever version
I had. IT WORKS on XP! I didn't try the insert links yet.... but I used a
table, inserted images and sent thru ftp.
