What happened to Folder favorites?

Under XP I was able to put a Folder in my list of Favorites, making it
easier to get to frequently used Folders. Can't figure out how to do that
with Vista. Is it still possible?

Any time you select 'add to favourites' one of the options on the panel is
New Folder. Click on it and select where to create the folder and then add
or drag and drop your favourites into it.
