what does this error code mean 0x80042109?

Task '(e-mail address removed) - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) :
'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

I had the same problem after I mistakenly clicked on a Norton Anti-Virus
warning about not allowing a connection from a certain port. There is a fix
for the email problem on the Symantec web site.
