What does FileError_22001 mean?

I have a bunch of Word documents I have saved and suddenly when I open them,
all I see is FileError_22001. I guess they are corrupted. Is there anything I
can do to retrieve them?

That appears to be a malware issue. (executable file C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\43718D7A.exe)

Use Google to research the issue but it seems to be a bit of a b*tch to
clean up after.
