I am trying to publish my website and I keep getting an error "the server ""
timed out. the current request was not completed successfully." I have
published this website numerous times and it worked well. If anyone has
suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Check with your hosting company.

But it's not always the host. I have had a similar problem for a long time.
It can happen anywhere along the many hops that the transmission goes
through on the way to the server, especially if there is a great distance.
Go to the command prompt and type in 'tracert www.myweb.com' (or whatever,
and leave out the quotation marks), and you will see the route that your
transmissions take. You may be surprised at how convoluted it is and how
many hops there are. And the return transmissions from your host may not
follow the same route.
