What directory are my Outook 2002 attachments in?

I have Outlook 2002, 10.6515, SP3, with Windows XP w/SP2. When I receive an
email message in Outlook with an attachment, I can view it by clicking on the
attachment icon.

Where on my hard drive does Outlook store all the email attachments I
receive? Is there a specific directory where they are all stored?

Does this directory ever get deleted? Or must I manually delete the
attachments from this directory, periodically?

attachments are saved with the message - when you delete it, the attachment
is deleted too. if you open an attachment from a message (instead of saving
it first), it's saved to the securetemp folder. It's usually deleted when
you close the attachment, but not always,
