What defines the original size of an inserted OLE object.

I'm trying to embed an Autocad (template) drawing into a Word template.
By inserting the drawing as an OLE object into Word (2003) it does not keep
for instance the values of your drawing limits as the original size, but is
randomly smaller.
I would like to know what defines the original size of an inserted OLE
object and if possible how to control (change) or fixate these original
dimensions.

Can't say specifically re AutoCad files, but I believe info in the image file
normally dictates size. If you RtClick the image and choose the Format
(Picture or whatever) command & go to the size page the info there will help
you resize appropriately.
