What are these Files?

What are these files; .msp and .msi in the installer sub-folder in the
Windows Directory? Can they be deleted?

They are install packages from previous installs on your system...

Can they be deleted... hmmm...
I cannot say definitively they can *all* be deleted. Probably the older
ones.

No, in most cases they should not be deleted. And since this question is
asked often, searching the web (or Google Groups) will provide you with
a complete explanation of what that sub-folder is all about. Probably
more than you wanted to know ;-)
