What are these files??

I recently found files and folders which seem to take up a lot of space on my
computer.

Files like "KB885836.log"
Folders like: $NtUninstallKB890175$ which contain files like "spuninst" and
"agentdpv.dll"

can anyone tell me what they are and whether I need to keep them or not?

these are your windows updates uninstall files, keep them for a while to
make sure you are not having any problem with the update and then they are
'fair game' for disposal. Keeping them is entirely up to you, however, I
would recommend holding on to them until you are sure all is well and you
want to keep the update....of course, you should have an SR point created
when they were installed, as well.
