What are these files that Norton always finds?

Norton WinDoctor always find these errors on one PC and cannot repair them.
Mercifully, this utility is on only one PC but we would really like to know
if these are real errors or can be ignored. A Google search yielded several
posts exactly like this (on the first 3) but without any solutions!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ProgID "MailFileAtt" refers to invalid ActiveX/COM entry
"00020D05-0000-0000-000000000046"

ProgID "mapifvbx.object" refers to invalid ActiveX/COM entry
"41116C00-8B90-101B-96CD-00AA003B14FC"

ProgID "mapifvbx.object.1" refers to invalid ActiveX/COM entry
"41116C00-8B90-101B-96CD-00AA003B14FC"

ProgID, "isAnalogLibrary.LexRefBilingualServiceAttribute.3," refers to an
invalid ActiveX/COM entry
"{FDA6F4B6-B83D-4ABF-1DBC-CDDE99EE00DD}."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Somebody else had these same "errors" and mentioned that these entries in
the Registry were located but could not be deleted/modified even in Safe
Mode.

Spybot/AdAware/MS Anti-Spyware/AntiVir/CWSShredder/TrendMicro SysClean - all
do not show these errors at all.

Does not affect operation in any way but bothers the user a lot who prefers
using WinDoctor time to time.

Regards and thanks in advance if anyone can give any information on this.

norton windoctor OFTEN id's something as "bad", when it really isn't. In
"the old days", a registry "inconsistancy" was a sign of a problem, but
today they are often there deliberately (Office is a big abuser of this);
DONT "fix" them!

if you are not SURE the item is really an error, just tell WinDoctor to
ignore it. that's safest.

Best to avoid using WinDoctor. Under XP it isn't worth much.

Thanks for the comments about Norton. Actually I am of a similar opinion
myself. But I have to deal with this one user issue! :)

But I am glad to say that WinDoctor is coming off that PC very soon now.

Incidentally NSW is not installed on that PC at all. Just the Norton
Utilities folder was copied over from a paid-for Retail CD to "Program
Files" and a shortcut created on the Start Menu. I learnt the trick from a
friend and it is akin to running WinDoctor from the CD - one has to make
sure that only the necessary run-files are retained in the copied folder!
Nothing to "uninstall" - just delete the folder and the shortcut.

I was informed a short while ago, by a local source, that those Registry
keys in question are actually OS system files and to make sure they are not
deleted, period! He added that WinDoctor is what needs to come off!

Regards and thanks again.

Which version of Windoctor are you using? I am using Windoctor that is
bundled with SystemsWorks 2002 and it works fine on my XP professional.
