Dear santhosh,
You have a Microsoft Report Project its a new
Feature of VS 2005. You do have support of reporting Services in SQL
2000 and VS 2003. RptProj is the project file. Rdl (Report definition
language) is the report. and RDs is the data source for the report. for
further details you can visit
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/reporting/default.mspx

Dear Santhosh ,
You dont need to have VS 2005 .you can download
the reporting service setup for SQL 2000 and VS 2003 from
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/reporting/default.mspx . Its free for SQL
2000 , Its really good and you can start developing Professional
looking Reports in just 2-3 Days. There are few book also available in
the market. I used "Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting
Services" by "Peter Blackburn, William R. Vaughn" .
