Microsoft owns up to Vista's flaws (sort of)

http://weblog.infoworld.com/enterprisedesktop/archives/2008/03/microsoft_owns.html

from article:

I love lawsuits. The smell of money has a way of dredging up all sorts
of interesting and (previously) confidential information.

Take the case of the internal Microsoft email thread that surfaced
recently in the wake of the pending "Vista Capable" class action suit.
Here you have Steve Sinofsky, the newly appointed head of the Windows
development team, confessing that Microsoft knew Vista wasn't ready to
ship in late 2006.

Big deal. So MS owns up to errors in Vista and that is news? I guess you
think that the people here can't figure out how to get the news so you post
the links. Thank you very much. Now, how about some links on the
politicial environment, Law issues, Health issues, and Travel? Maybe if you
post some of those links, we can have a well rounded news reading.

O

On the Bridge!

its important for people to get good information about the problems of vista
when they come in here,
many come in here to see if vista is all that great as microsoft tries to
say...

by reading all the nice news like this one, they get a better educated and
more well rounded
overall view of how crap Vista really is :)

Dont get me wrong, I have told many people to get vista with their new
computers...

But of course I explain to them ALL the problems and setbacks they may
encounter.

Its the same thing.. its better for the visitors in here and future vista
adopters, to know Vistas dark and sinister side, even if they decide to go
along and get it, than to jump into vista thinking its a paradise made in
redmond.

You are running an anti-Vista business. You benefit from exaggerating minor
problems and elevating them to a monumental level. It is a sinister
practice. There is nothing sinister about Vista. You are sinister and dark.

These guys are a bunch of lawyers trying to mount discontent again Vista,
exaggerate minor technical problems with the hope to get a multi-million
dollar settlement in some near future. They don't give a fu*cking damn about
us. They file their motions written on Vista computers. This is the only
thing "sinister" about Vista, that it serves crooks so well.

We will all testify that they are crooks.
