Hi:

I'm talking "won't uninstall with its own uninstaller or with Add/Remove."
I've had it suggested that manually deleting its files is a solution; others
say that so doing can screw up things. So what's the risk if it won't remove
with its own uninstaller OR Add/Remove of deleting manually? Is that a total
No-No? And could so doing not leave files in the registry? While I'm
comfortable re backing up the registry and moving around in it, how would one
know which files to delete from the registry...couldn't they have names one
would not easily associate with the program in question?

Best way to get rid of the application..

(optional)Use some sort of Installation Tracking Application..
Reinstall it.
(see optional)Then use the installation tacking application to uninstall
EVERYTHING that it did.
OR
Uninstall from Add/Remove programs, using CUSTOM if you can and selecting
everything in each window.
Reboot.
Use a cleanup application like CCLeaner to erase unneeded registry
entries/shortcuts.

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

=====================
Hi Shenan (hope that's your 1st name)

Thanks for your answer...it helped me - gave me a lead. And I will be able,
atthis point, to do some googling to learn about Installation Tracking Apps.
Then you add an OR. "Uninstall from Add/Remove using CUSTOM if you can.
What is this CUSTOM thingy? I'm unfamiliar with it.
