welcome screen

In the past 24 hrs my computer (HP laptop) has been
taking me back to the Welcome /user account screen after
being idle for only 60 sec. even when plugged in!
I've looked everywhere for a setting to change...

Right click desktop, properties, screen saver tab. Either uncheck: on resume
password protect or on resume display welcome screen. Or, change the time
limit.
