I have users using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2000. We came across a
strange problem this morning. To try to simplify what I'm seeing I've
broken down the chain of events below.
The original message was sent by Angie to Sylvia, Elena and CC'd to
Gary
That message was forwarded by Elena to Jon and Dan and CC'd back to
Angie
It was then forwarded by Dan to Jason
Jason replied to Dan and CC'd Elena
Elena replied to Jason and Dan
Jason replied back to Elena and Dan
Elena replied back to Jason and Dan
Jason replied back to Elena and Dan and CC'd Angie
At this point Dan did not get the reply. Elena and Angie did, and
looking through the exchange Message tracking, there is no attempt to
send to Dan, and no indication the message is to be sent (the Message
Tracking Center shows only 2 recipients not 3). Jason's sent items
clearly show that Dan should have received the message. Another thing
I observed in the details of the Message Tracking Center, is that the
messages that Dan should have received do have a 3rd recipient, but
it's just (e-mail address removed).
Anyone have any insight?
Thanks
