Weird problem!

When I used Internet Explorer it would save what I typed in search boxes like
in Yahoo or remember my username in message boards. I could double click on
the search box and it would show what I've seach for and it would make it
easer but now for some reason the option isn't working. Is there a way for me
to enable that option again?
 
Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
