Outlook 2000 with Exchange server. All was working well until about a week
ago. Now, several users cannot see their new Inbox messages until they
refresh their view, by clicking on another folder and clicking back to the
Inbox. I checked the dial up networking settings in the exchange server
properties to make sure that Outlook is not set to use dial-up settings (it's
not). Unless these users remember to refresh their views, stuff will pile up,
and they don't know about it, until they get 10 or 12 e-mails at a time. Any
ideas anyone could offer on this annoyance would certainly be appreciated.

if you have xp and windows firewall, go to firewall settings and make an
exception for outlook.exe

Are you connecting to an Exchange server? Is your Exchange server local or on
the other side of your router?
It sounds like a problem with how the router is handling UDP packets.
