Weekend Email Followup

My previous post was a little sparse. My CIO want to see our HelpDesk emails
on the weekends only. Friday after 5PM to Monday before 9AM. My problem is,
at times I forget to turn the rule on to forward a copy of emails on Fridays
before leaving. Can I automate the process without having to leave a PC
logged in over the weekend. Runing Outlook 2000 with Exchange 2000

The VBA control over rules inside outlook, is not that great and I think
that it would be much easier for you to do this on the excahnge
server using an eventhandler that triggers on a schedule -

As I understand your post doing it inside outlook in VB code would be a
mess (you could ofcause try to write some code that could check the time
on outlook shutdown/startup and set the rules as you would like, using
rule.dll - but as I said you do not have much control over rules from
within the OOM and it might be very dificult/impossible).

Why not just create a 1/2 hour meeting in the calendar with a reminder
to pop-up and remind you to establish the rules? Set one early
morning on Friday and another late afternoon so that it's not
forgotten.
